Kerrier District Council appointed NEW Masterplanning and GVA Grimley at the end of 2007 to prepare a development brief for the Camborne bus station site. The site is home to the bus station and bus depot, and presents a major opportunity to extend the retail core of the town centre. The brief will consider how a critical mass of new retail floorspace can be created, and how a pedestrian circuit can connect the site with the existing shopping streets. Consultation is scheduled for later this year with the final report due in Spring 2008. |
