Client: Bath & North East Somerset Council commissioned the study, which was then undertaken in partnership with Ernst & Young

Project Team: Andy, Geraint and Richard led the masterplanning project whilst at Terence O'Rourke.

Bath Spatial Framework

The Spatial Strategy was prepared to provide a framework for growth. This included retail, office and residential investment within the core of the historic city, and opportunities for strategic expansion of the city centre.

The report was prepared in close consultation with officers within Bath & North East Somerset Council, and with representatives of the Urban Panel.

the character of Bath is formed by the different eras of growth, which has created a rich and varied townscape

the design approach captured the unique medieval and Georgian character of this World Heritage City
