Andy is a qualified urban designer, architect and town planner. He led the master plan for the regeneration of the central area of Poole and has been responsible for the urban design framework for Taunton town centre, the master plan for the expanded University of York campus and has led design teams in Slough, Falmouth and Camborne. Andy has also spent eight years at Birmingham City Council were he was the Urban Design Team Leader. He contributed to the DETR good practice guide for development briefs and was the co-author of Birmingham's influential residential design guide "Places for Living". He has also contributed to the Urban Design Group publication, Urban Design Guidance: Urban design frameworks, development briefs and master plans. |
