Mixed use development approved for Wimborne
Planning permission was granted last week by East Dorset District Council for the Parmiter Drive site located within easy walking distance of Wimborne Town Centre. The new residential neighbourhood with provide the community with a mix of 81 additional dwellings. The site will also allow for Wimborne Football Club to be relocated to new modern facilities, provide the community with additional allotments spaces, build youth facilities incorporating skate and BMX facilities well as a provide open space in the form of a SANGS (Suitable Alternative Natural Green Space) allowing existing and new residents with access to the tranquil River Stour.
NEW masterplanning worked on behalf of Wyatt Homes to prepare the masterplan and planning application for the site as well as facilitating public exhibitions during the design process.
