NEW masterplanning

NEW Masterplanning prepared the concept design and masterplan for this landmark site in Poole on behalf of McCarthy & Stone. We also prepared a detailed landscape scheme to support the planning application.

The site required a bespoke design approach reflecting its prominent location and commercial potential. Working with Glenn Howells Architects a scheme was prepared which responded to the triangular nature of the site and maximised views south towards the park and harbour. The curved form of the tower references streamline modern, regional, coastal architecture. Planning permission was granted for a mix of ‘assisted living’ and ‘later living’ apartments.  The site was completed in spring 2017.
