Concept Masterplan for Station Approach approved

Winchester City Council has approved a brand-new Concept Masterplan for Station Approach in Winchester. The Concept Masterplan, which was considered and formally endorsed at a recent Cabinet meeting, establishes the vision and aspiration for the central site in Winchester.

Appointed in 2024 NEW masterplanning worked with project lead Design Engine,  with input from Urban Movement on transport and Steven Bee on heritage to develop a Concept Masterplan for the area which will help to shape future proposals as and when they come forward to the Council.

The team carried out a baseline survey, workshops with local residents and businesses, and in late 2024 a six week consultation process, supported by an online webinar and a drop-in information event which we well received by the public.
